Having purchased diablo III 5 minutes after the earliest time possible, I've gotten to look at this 12-year in the making gem of modern gaming... From what I can see, it is nothing but a log-in screen. The servers are full and have been for hours. I'd be more than happy to play Diablo III alone and likely would be anyway, but to play single player, one must first log into Battle.net, thus taking up space on the server that I, along with the belligerent masses on the battle.net forums, can not get on for the life of me. I was hoping to get an early video posted for 1upgamesonline.com in the hopes of getting some new blood in here (one of the reasons I shelled out 65 bucks at launch for it in the first place), but that probably won't be happening. I understand that the servers are untested, except for beta where apparently they had the exact same problem that was fixed, I'm cantankerously assuming, by players giving up and uninstalling to go play kick-the-can, or pong, or whatever the kids these days are playing... Anyway, It's an understandable problem but one that is chapping my ass none-the-less. On one hand, I'm looking forward to playing the game and am optimistic about enjoying it, understanding that blizzard has 8 (off the top of my head) other games running off there servers, 7 of which are also Battle.net itself. On the other hand, NERD-RAGE!

It let me on... Now I feel like a dick for whining about it. Let that be a lesson to the nerd-rage in all of us. We're cool again, Blizzard... For now.
