Find out how one of the most critically rejected games left Siuilarun feeling violated in this 2 1Up Mushroom Rated Single player review.
Warning: NSFW! This game -and as such it's review- contains material not suitable for children or people of strong moral fiber.
the overall rating for Duke Nukem Forever, between single and multiplayer came out a 2.5 1Up Mushroom rating, heartbreakingly mediocre.

Wow... Never thought one of us would quote the bible in one of our reviews this game looks freakin weird as hell even for Duke Nukem.

There are, but every stage, except Duke Burger's interior is pretty muchadorned in one color or another; the desert and it's buildings are all sandy orange, the hoover dam at night is all that violet hue, and the casino is all gold. It's kind of like the Mask of the Red Death by Edgar Allen Poe, where each room was a different single-color. the first 2 level's were lively in art design, but they were mostly interactive cutscene's as there was no pew-pew involved.
Even though the Hive was just the green walled level like the casino was the gold walled level, the lack of recognizable human construction made it a bit different... and that was one of the things back in the day that Duke3D had over Doom and Quake, was that the locations were recognizable like Theaters, chinese restaurants, stadiums... Hell even the spacestation levels had bathrooms and lightswitches to make them seem inhabitable.
I could have gone into more detail on the levels, but with 1 obvious exception, I was trying to avoid spoiling too much about the levels, because it was a review of the game in general that people theoretically would (or would not) be experiencing for themselves after the review. Also as I implied in the video, some parts of the game were only mostly crap.
Anyone wanna borrow Duke Nukem Forever?

I don't think my mind could handle a game like that. I'd prolly end up in a shower just sitting there fully clothed letting the hot water pour on me while I cried and rocked back and forth.
